The deceased was baptized at the early age of 15, by Elder LC Warren at Antioch Church, Indiana and has been a consistent Christian through life. For the past five years she affiliated with the Baptist Church near her home and was held in the highest esteem by that body for her faithfulness and service – holding the office of trustee for the church. The departed was married to CB Anderson who survives her Sept 9th, 1881. They together spent seven years in Minnesota, one year in Colorado and were present at the opening of Oklahoma, where they have since lived. There were born to this union two sons and three daughters, three of which are now living two sons and one daughter. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Julius Wilkins at the Baptist Church, Thursday, Nov 19th. They have in the home the consolation of Christianity; Mr. Anderson being a disciple of the Lord Jesus. The entire community keenly feel the loss of Sister Anderson and sympathize with the bereaved family. “Blessed are the dead, which die in the Lord.”
